This photo shows part of the facade of an apartment building in Bümpliz, a neighborhood in the west of Bern. Bümpliz is a melting pot of many different ethnicities and classes living (mostly)
peacefully together. I took this photo close to Midnight. Most windows were dark but some were still lighted. The Asian lanterns are part of a balcony-decoration.

I took this photo through the window of the upper deck of my starting train. The streaks of gold are caused by the lights in the station hall and the lights of the train across in combination
with the movement of my train. The rain drops on the window add to the intriguing effect, I think.
